Welcome to the Church of the Nazarene 40-day Scripture Engagement Journey. When you sign up, you’ll be registered to receive the daily Scripture in your email. This way you can engage with God’s word daily along with the whole body of the Church of the Nazarene.
Getting the Most from God's Word \\
As you embark on taking a journey, we encourage you to engage with God’s Word following these four steps so that your life may be touched and changed in the most meaningful way.
Pray to God to connect with you here. Ask Him to help you understand.
Read the selected section of Scripture slowly. Mark the words and phrases that intrigue you, read them for a second time.
Reflect on what grabs you here. What is God communicating to you? Stop long enough to let this take root and thank God for engaging you.
Respond to the passage. Speak directly to God about what is on your mind and heart. Look for ways to live out what you find and bring what you find to others.
